Allegheny Family Network
Child Care Works! Program
Updated: Jul 30, 2022
Allegheny Family Network is excited to announce that parents will now be able to meet with a Family Specialist from the Early Learning Resource Center, the agency that manages the Child Care Works! Program funded through the Department of Human Services. The subsidized child care program helps low-income families pay their childcare fees.

Parents can meet with the Family Specialist to find out if they meet the guidelines, complete an application, get contact information about childcare facilities, and learn about the process and benefits of Child Care Works. The Family Specialist can also discuss other benefits available for families, such as housing assistance.
Make an appointment or walk in on Thursdays from 8 AM to 4 PM at the Allegheny Family Network North office, located at 1600 Pacific Avenue, Suite 10 in Natrona Heights. Those who are in need of transportation can utilize the AFN North Shuttle. Questions? Call the Parent Support Line at 1-888-273-2361.
