We are beyond thrilled to share that Allegheny Family Network has been honored as a 2025 Caregiver Champion! This recognition is not just a milestone for our organization but also a testament to the incredible journey we've embarked on under the guidance of our CEO, Ruth Fox.

Reflecting on our beginnings, Allegheny Family Network started with just five passionate individuals, a small chat line, and a resource library dedicated to supporting families with children facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Today, we stand proud with a team of over 40 dedicated employees, all of whom bring personal experiences and insights to their roles. This growth is a testament not only to the commitment of our team but also to the resilience and strength of the families we serve.

Our mission has always been to inspire parents and caregivers to find their inner strengths and advocate confidently for their families. We believe that through shared experiences and strong support networks, every family can thrive. We’re committed to offering a comprehensive range of services— from informative resources to educational programs and advocacy efforts— that cater to the unique needs of families in Allegheny County and beyond.

We will celebrate this achievement at the 17th Annual Celebrating Champions Dinner and Silent Auction on Thursday, October 16, at The Westin Pittsburgh. We are looking forward to a fantastic evening filled with camaraderie, inspiration, and reflection on how far we’ve come.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. Your belief in our work and your engagement with our community has made this recognition possible. Together, we will continue to empower families and ensure they have the necessary tools and guidance to thrive.

Here’s to many more years of making a difference!
