At Allegheny Family Network, we believe every child deserves to feel celebrated. Thanks to our new partnership with Cake4Kids of Greater Pittsburgh, that belief is being turned into something truly sweet.

🍰 What Is Cake4Kids?

Cake4Kids is a nonprofit organization powered by volunteer bakers who create and deliver custom birthday cakes to underserved children and teens. These cakes go to youth in foster care, shelters, or low-income households—kids who might not otherwise get to celebrate their special day.

Now, AFN families are part of this joy-filled mission.

🧁 Celebrating with Purpose

For many caregivers, birthdays can be emotionally or financially overwhelming. When life feels uncertain, something as simple as a cake can make a child feel seen, valued, and loved.

“I’ve never seen my child so surprised and happy. That cake made her feel like she mattered.”— AFN Parent

Whether it’s a superhero design, a rainbow unicorn, or a favorite flavor baked with love, these cakes remind our kids—and their parents—that they are truly special and deserve a celebration.

🎈 Aligned in Mission

This partnership reflects everything AFN stands for: peer support, kindness, and real community connection. It’s not just about frosting and sprinkles—it’s about dignity, joy, and shared moments that matter.

Together with Cake4Kids, we’re helping families feel supported through life's meaningful celebrations.
